All items ordered on the shop.ammonitum.com website that are not covered by separate return policies may be returned within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of delivery for exchange or refund. The items to be returned must be accompanied by the original invoice and if it is a partial return, then a copy of the total invoice must be attached.

Items customised for our customers fall under separate return conditions. This means that if you have ordered a personalised product, you cannot return or exchange this product.

Obvious defects must be notified in writing to ammonitum (email to: claim@ammonitum.com sufficient) upon acceptance of the service/goods or within two weeks after delivery of the goods at the latest. After expiry of this period, warranty claims due to obvious defects can no longer be asserted. In the case of justified complaints, ammonitum has the choice of either repairing the defective delivery items or supplying the customer with a replacement in return for taking back the item complained about. As long as ammonitum fulfils its obligations to rectify the defects, the customer does not have the right to demand a reduction in payment or cancellation of the contract, unless the rectification has failed. If rectification or replacement is impossible, fails or is refused, the customer may, at his option, demand a corresponding price reduction or rescission of the contract. If a customer specifies special types of wood, construction methods or the finish on request, we accept no liability for warping, cracking or paint peeling. For all sanitary objects (lacquered wooden objects), which are manufactured according to Ammonitum's specifications, we give a guarantee of 20 years from the date of delivery, based on experience, with regard to cracking and leakage. It is expressly pointed out that we are not liable for damage to the wood or varnish, guarantee, which has arisen due to improper treatment and care. Likewise, this liability/guarantee does not apply to sanitary objects that are exposed to natural processes of change and any damage is not due to poor workmanship and/or material quality, for example extreme weathering, discolouration of the wood due to the respective light situation.
